IWR6843ISK: Cannot connect with mmWave Demo Visualizer when running the mmWave SDK Demo

Part Number: IWR6843ISK
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MMWAVEICBOOST,

We are trying to run the mmWave SDK demo on IWR6843ISK mounted on MMWAVEICBOOST hardware kit. I followed the instructions included in the mmWave SDK demo user guide provided under the industrial Toolbox v3.1.1. Initially I tried running the demo without building the project in CCS. I was able to successfully flash the binary files provided as part of the SDK. However, when I tried to connect to the target device from the mmWave Demo Visualizer, I could not and it kept saying "waiting for data" as seen in the picture below. I made sure my com ports settings are accurate. Then I tried to build a new binary file using the instructions provided under the developer guide section. I was successfully able to flash the new binary file but I still could not connect to the device from the GUI visualizer. Finally, I followed the debug mode instructions and I was able to successfully complete each step except again for the GUI visualizer connection step. I did notice however that I don't get the messages in my output window indicating the mmWave control and CLI modules were initialized successfully as shown in the snapshot below. Doing more debugging I know that the problem has to do with line # 2345 in main.c

gMmwMCB.ctrlHandle = MMWave_init (&initCfg, &errCode);

When the program get to this point, the device stop responding. Can you please help with this issue as soon as possible since as of right now the development on this hardware is on hold.
