Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, IWR6843
Hi!
Uniflash seems very unstable for flashing my IWR6843. I have managed to flash it maybe 2 or 3 times, and after that I have tried to flash it again (maybe 20 to 30 times) but it fails every time now.
I have tried it on both windows and linux, and different computers, but all fails.
I have downloaded Uniflash 4.5.0 (the standalone version).
I run it and select the serial port and the binary to flash, but when I click the flash button I get a popup window and then the gui just stops.
It behaves the same way on both windows and linux.
I have run it with strace on linux, and it looks like the process that opens the serial port gets killed. Here's a snippet of the strace log:
[pid 15216] openat(AT_FDCWD, "/dev/ttyACM0", O_RDWR|O_NOCTTY|O_NONBLOCK) = 11
[pid 15216] --- SIGABRT {si_signo=SIGABRT, si_code=SI_TKILL, si_pid=15215, si_uid=1000} ---
[pid 15216] +++ killed by SIGABRT (core dumped) +++
I have a TI IWR6843 ISK Evaluation Module connected to a TI mmWave EVM Carrier Card.
My computer is connected via the usb connector to the XDS110.
