Hi,

I am learning SYS/BIOS and wanted to create some example project of Sys/Bios on IWR1642 without involving too much complexity of the system. I want some generic examples like there was an option in CCSv5. How can I get in CCSv8?

Update:
I have just notived that it is availbale in other microcontrollers like cc3200 and tm4c123 but not in mmwave sensors. Perhaps, generic example codes are the part of only TI-RTOS for cc3200 etc. It seems, resource explorer don't have TI-RTOS for mmwave section in RE.
Anyone can suggest me, how can I gen an example of RTOS to test only GPIO, SPI, I2C, and UART without involving DSP section.

Hello Laxmi,

The mmWave-SDK demo is an example of a full processing chain running on the mmWave sensor. You can create the associated CCS project following the instructions in the setup guide in the IWR1642 mmWave SDK demo lab on the TI Resource Explorer.

Alternatively, if you only want to test an individual peripheral like I2C, etc. you can use the example test code in C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_<ver>\packages\ti\drivers\<peripheral>\test. These test codes come with a makefile to build them (not a CCS project).
