How can i use iwr1642 to identify and isolate the static or parked cars???

Hi Arunkumar,

Would you be able to clarify what you mean here? Parked cars will be detected as an object with zero velocity. Is this what you are asking?

Can you give some more details about your use-case? Will the mmWave sensor be stationary or will it be on a moving platform (automobile, etc.)?

with a stationary mmWave sensor can i identify a parked car??
that is I need to identify an object that is not moving !! Can i identify the size of the object??

Hello,

There is not a specific demo demonstrating a parked car however, it is certainly possible to determine whether a space is occupied by a vehicle using mmWave sensors.

Please refer to the mmWave SDK out of box demo to evaluate the sensor for this application.
