CCS/IWR1443BOOST: Can I capture the raw receiver antenna data without TSW1400 board?

My understanding is that in order to capture raw data, we need the EVM + mmWave DevPack and TSW1400 board as shown here:

However, I read here that we can extract raw data without a TSW1400 board. Is it possible? Or is TSW1400 board compulsory for this?

Hi,
To extract the raw data from IWR1443 device you need to use either TSW1400 or DCA1000, these are the only options.
But for single frame worth data you can use mem_capture application of mmWave-SDK to extract out (memory dump) raw ADC data using CCS as enquired in the e2e link you mentioned.

Can you let me know how much time does it take for the data to be extracted from the board over the UART link?

Hi Akash,

The transfer time will depend on the UART interface speed and size of the data. Please see the following similar thread for more information.
