Hello ,

I am working with DCA1000EVM, the Ethernet cable was not getting recognized , so according to the suggestion given by the TI , I have a separate Ethernet Gigabit adapter. After connecting it , I am unable to read the device from the device manager ( other devices are not specified). Can you please let me know what has to be done?

Hi Sharon,

Could you please clarify which device you are looking for in device manager? If it's your gigabit ethernet adapter, then you will need to check with the manufacturer of that adapter.

Hello Anand,

No I am not looking for Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. I am looking for other devices ( AR-DevPack -EVM - 012).

Hi Sharon,

Are you powering the DCA1000 board with a 5V 2.5A or better power supply? Can you confirm that you are using the correct USB port on the DCA1000?

Also, can you confirm that you have a USB cable plugged in to the AWR1243 board as well? Do you hear the USB device connection sound when the cables are plugged in to the host PC (one at a time)? (If not, this may be damaged hardware).

Would it be possible to check with a different PC to make sure the hardware is okay?
