CCS/TDC1000-TDC7200EVM: Cannot compile the TDC1000-TDC7200 provided source code

Hi,

I installed CCS (on a MacBook, version 8.3.0.00009) and I am trying to import the source code for the evaluation board TDC1000-TDC7200.

I fixed all the include issues, but now when I try to build, I get a couple of errors (see below).

I saw similar issues (for the msp430f5528.h file only) on the forum, but still the answers could not help me fix my problem.

What did I miss?

Guillaume,

Please ensure that while you downloaded the Code Composer Studio you had "Code Composer Studio IDE MSP430 Components" & " GCC MSP430 Compiler Tools ", " GCC MSP430 tool-chain" " MSP430 Compiler Tools" installed. From the error message i see that these files may not be present in your CCS.

Hi Bharat,

Thank you for your feedback. I checked and I already have all those tools installed.

I worked on the subject and found out that some of the linked ressources had broken linked, so I fixed that.

Then the workaround I did was to comment the #include <cstring> which seems to be a c++ library and was causing trouble for the compilation.

With that, I was able to compile the code and send it to the MSP430. Can you confirm it is OK to remove the #include <cstring>?

That is very good, yes you would not need to include cstring to run this tool.
