IWR1642: IWR1642BOOST: Programming own version of IWR1642 using TM4C1294 via XDS110

Dear Sir/Madam,

I designed IWR1642 based board from IWR1642BOOST.

1. I configured XDS110 to TM4C1294 and It's work(?)

2. I tested JTAG connection using CCS V8 and I don't find any errors.

3. I trying to debugging but I can't, because it cause error

4. And I trying use UniFlash

5. , But it cause can't connect error - But Windows Device Manager show me the COM8 port and CCS V8 JTAG test is passed.

I trying to check hardware connection with IWR1642BOOST schematic. It's Ok.

I do TM4C1294 to XDS110

1. xdsdfu -m //DFU Mode Change success

2. xdsdfu -b boot-loader.bin // Write success

3. xdsdfu -f firmware.bin -r // Write success 

I do for flashing...

1. SOP Mode: Set SOP mode 5 and Power off -> Push to hold reset SW -> Turn on the Power -> Release reset SW -> Still I see COM8 in Device Manager

2. Run Uni Flash -> Change COM Port to COM8 and choose IWR1642.bin image -> Load Image file

3. result -> Fail (Not able to connect serial port)

I do for JTAG function.

1. Run CCS V8.3

2. Load IWR1642 Project and Re-Build with None error and I check xer4f, xe674 and bin file

3. View -> Target Configuration ->Select IWR1642 -> Save -> Test Connection -> No error -> It's Ok (You can see attached image)

I trying to do debugging under CCS V8.3 ...

    I'll need to ask my team about this and will try to have an answer for you by the end of this week.

    Would you mind trying with both a different USB cable and on a different machine?

    A first thank you for your reply and Happy new year!

    Last week, I review all my schematic, PCB Gerber and PCB.

    And after I found some my mistake.

    VCLK and VBGAP is short inside of PCB.

    So, I correct these mistake and re-manufacturing of PCB now.
