TMP117: NIST-traceabiliy documentation and calibration vs. storage time

Part Number: TMP117

Hello,

we are planning to use the TMP117 within a medical device to measure temperature. In most use cases, our customers require us to have a certificate for the accuracy/calibration of the sensors.

Obviously, there is some documentation on this (as mentioned in this thread).

My questions are:

1. What does "NIST-traceble" (as in the datasheet) mean concretely?

2. Which documents on NIST can be provided by TI? Please send us the documents via email.

3. How does storage* (-time) affect the calibration?

Thanks in advance.

* storage conditions: no electrical connections; 21°C (70°F)
