AWR1642: The meaning of some variables in srr GUI demo

Part Number: AWR1642

I don't quite understand the meaning of some variables in the function named  getClusters in the srr GUI demo.As shown in the red mark below, what are the variables   x_size,y_size,detObj.x and detObj.x   mean  respectively?

  • Hi,
    These variables maps to SRR source structure

    typedef struct trackingReportForTx_t
    {
    int16_t x; /**< the tracking output -> x co-ordinate */
    int16_t y; /**< the tracking output -> y co-ordinate */
    int16_t xd; /**< velocity in the x direction */
    int16_t yd; /**< velocity in the y direction */
    int16_t xSize; /**< cluster size (x direction). */
    int16_t ySize; /**< cluster size (y direction). */
    } trackingReportForTx;

  • What are the parameters of the clustered rectangle, such as the coordinates of the center point of the rectangle?are  they  detObj.x    and  detObj.y ? What is the length and width of the rectangle?  I don't quite understand the two sentences x_loc and y_loc.

  • Hi,

    The center point of the rectangle is at (detObj.x, (detObj.y - (y_size/2)))

    The length and width are x_size and y_size.

    Best Regards,
