OPT8241: mm range ToF sensor

Hi,

I am figuring out the possibility of using OPT8241 ToF sensor for short range (less than 50 mm) 3D reconstruction. I am aiming micron-scale depth resolution. I have tried the tool (TI 3DToF System Estimator Tool) However, there are limitations on the input, for Example it is not possible to enter Depth Resolution less than 0.1 mm. Is there another tool or is the source-code of this tool available for editing?

I read the "Introduction to the Time-of-Flight (ToF) System Design" report by TI. It is very useful. However, the equations uses proportional formula for depth resolution without mentioning the proportional factor which makes it impossible for me to compute the depth resolution and other design attributes of my suggested system manually.
