LM96163: how to disable D+/D- ?

Hi Team,

If customer only wants to use this device to generate a fixed frequency and duty cycle and not going to use temperature sensing feature, what should we do to disable sensor side (like D+ and D-)?

My little idea is to fill up 12 LUT index same PWM frequency and PWM duty cycle if we cannot disable the sensor.

Please give me suggestion, thanks!

Hello Andrew

The external sensor cannot be disabled. However what you can do is to fix a temperature in the LUT and use that to generate the PWM output

Thanks, so basically I can set 10khz PWM from 0 degree in LUT. correct?

So what to do with D+/D- pin?

Can I hook a 10K ohms btw 2 pins?

Or just leave float, it's ok?

No, do not leave the terminal floating. please connect a transistor for the terminal.
