MMWAVE-STUDIO: Error on mmWaveStudio

Hi All,

After a lot of effort and re installation mmWave studio finally doesnt crash on my PC.

But now when I open it I get following error in output window.

I hope this time its possible to solve the problem and work one time with DCA1000 :)

Because I have changed my PC and bought new Ethernet card that was supposed to be the cause of error last time.

    Hi Mostafa,

    Can you please delete the following directory and try again?
    C:\Users\mostafak\AppData\Roaming\RSTD\

    That should solve it.

    I did it, and again that error appears.
    But I also tried to continue all steps in the training video for DCA1000 and all of them were successful.
    Until I tried to SetUp DCA1000 that I got following error:
    I remember that last time your support said maybe it is because of the Network Adapter card but now
    I have a USB to Ethernet Adapter and disabled previos networc card.

    Hi Mostafa,

    Can you please let us know the model of the USB to ethernet adapter that you are using? If possible a link to where to order this from would help.

    Also, regarding the earlier error, can you post the log again and if possible the content of C:\Users\mostafak\AppData\Roaming\RSTD\ar1gui.ini ?

    Hi Mostafa,

    Could you let me know what baud rate you have selected under the RS232 operations tab?

    It should be 115200 but your log file seems to indicate 921600.

    Also, can you confirm that COM15 is indeed the correct "Application UART" port for your device? Are you using an AWR1642 or an AWR1243 BOOST?

    I changed it to 115200 and again got the same error.
    But as you can see in following log I could continue and connect to the board and program Radar and master firmaware and
    connect the SPI .
    But still I have problem when I want to connect to it via ethernet.

    Hi Mostafa,

    You're right. The ethernet issue is different than the UART one.

    We will try and order this adapter to debug further, but that will take some time.

    At this time, the only recommendation we can make is to try with a different PC, if possible one with a built-in ethernet adapter.

    Hi Mostafa,

    It appears that the Windows 10 firewall might block access to the DCA1000. A solution is discussed in this thread:
