AWR1243: TDA2x EVM for cascaded radar development

Part Number: AWR1243
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDA2

I have some questions regarding the TDA2x EVM for cascaded radar development. We plan to procure the TDA2x EVM http://www.ti.com/tool/TDA2EVM5777

  1. Do we need to procure the Vision Application Board also? Or we can skip this?
  2. Can we connect the 4 AWR1243 devices to the VIN ports on the EVM? The TDA2x EVM supports VIN1A, VIN2A, VIN4B, VIN5A, VIN6A only
  3. We plan to use this device for CSI2 to parallel conversion

  4. We would like to use ethernet for debug.
  5. SPI will be used for communicating with AWR1243 devices
  6. What is the maximum speed at which VIN ports be operated. I know what if we use only 2 lanes on AWR1243, it can support 900 Mbps on CSI2. Can the VIN ports operate at 900 * 16 = 14.4 Gbps?

I know the complete cascaded development kit will be released by Q1 2019, but can you guys let us know if we are heading in the right direction with our choice above and help us clarify our doubts?

Thanks,
