guide to choose right sensor to measure stresses in suspension leaf of vehicle

Hi,

we have to measure stresses in suspension leaf of vehicle. The Image of suspension leaf is shown below.

so, what kind of sensors can be used to measure stresses ( i.e. how much leaves moves into y axis when load becomes high or low on the vehicle). 

Please guide me. i will be very thankful for this.

    Sirod,

    Typically strain gauges are used to measure the deflection caused by stress. This then can be used to interpret stress levels.  TI does not make such sensors and so we are not able to suggest specific sensors. Can you please contact sensor vendors for more information?
