Could you advise regarding distance meter 20mm to 50mm with accuracy < 0.1mm ?

Can these be used?

Any other solution?

Got below updated request:

We need to check the distance of the sensor from a metal plate for system calibration.

We need to measure the distances in the range of 20mm-50mm

The accuracy should be 10um-100um

Supply power should be low as possible

Small dimensions are most welcomed

I have seen time of flight devices (full solutions and only the controller) based on light or ultrasound (both are accepted).

Therefore, any solution you have that could fit our requirement is accepted.

Eli,

You can measure 20mm to 50mm with accuracy around 0.1mm using Lidar TDC7200.

Please refer the App notes on TDC7200 devices for more info on how use the device to measure short distances.
