FDC2214: Overshoot on the oscillation signal waveform

Customer checked the waveform of the oscillation signal. Please see following waveform.

After channel switching, it has overshoot.

Is it no problem?

If you have any concern, please let me know it . Also, do you have any idea for improvement method?

Yusuke,

To change the behavior so that there is no overshoot, set SENSOR_ACTIVATE_SEL = 1. With SENSOR_ACTIVATE_SEL = 0 (the current setting), the device drives the sensor will maximum current for a short time, which can reduce the settling time but increases power consumption. SENSOR_ACTIVATE_SEL = 1 uses low power activation mode, so it will use the programmed current value at all times.
