Hi,

What changes required in mmw demo from mmwave_sdk_01_02_00_05 to load it to MSS program memory via CCS?

I have IWR1443 silicon revision 2. Code from new sdk doesn't work there.

Hi Gennadii,

I'm not sure if I understand your question. The SDK_Demo Setup Guide illustrates how to load an executable through CCS for debugging. Is this what you are trying to do?

The procedure is the same for ES2.0 as ES3.0, except for ES2.0 you'll need to flash the board with the radarss (BSS) binary, and then the debug firmware in the MSS portion.

Hi Akash,

It’s easy to load the demo through CCS. But mmw demo mmwave_sdk_01_02_00_05 runs correctly only from flash. It crashes when someone try to run it after loading through CCS. Linker flag is needed indicating that code runs from MSS program memory, not from flash.

What mmw demo project change is needed?

What binary have you flashed on to your device? To run it from CCS you'll need to flash the ccs_debug.bin binary. Can you confirm you've done this?
