In my application I need to configure AWR1642 as a LIN slave in order to communicate to a LIN master. Where could I get the LIN driver for AWR1642?

Hi,

AWR1642 does not support LIN.

In the past we have used CAN output on AWR1642 together with a CAN to LIN converter (PCAN_LIN High Speed CAN IPEH-002025

I have my own pcb designed with AWR1642 chip and TJA1021 LIN transceiver. rs232_TX and rs_232_RX pins from AWR1642 are interfaced with the LIN transceiver. Now I need to establish LIN communication. The AWR1642 module is to be configured as LIN Slave. I need LIN driver / LIN stack in order to establish LIN communication.

Unfortunately we don't have a LIN Stack available on our device.

Did you have a chance to check with other teams?

Does TI have a LIN Stack for a UART for any TI device? It should be able to be ported to another UART on another TI device?

Hi,

I have checked and unfortunately we don't have a LIN stack available. We usually rely on our ecosystem partners to provide the LIN stack
