Hello Renat,
Welcome to the E2E Community!
What type and size of magnet are you using, and what distances have you set as your on and off threshold? You can use the DRV5032 design tool (on the right side of the page) as a quick check to make sure you are meeting the max-BOP and min-BRP requirements for the device and magnet in your application. Are you sure you're providing a change in input that overcomes the hysteresis requirement? For the FB version it's 1.5mT.
Is there a particular event that triggers the "stuck" output, or does it seem random? Have you tried swapping the DRV5032FB on the board for a new one? Also, the FB version has a push-pull output stage, so make sure you aren't using a pull-up resistor at the output pin.

Hi.
Thanks for answer.
>>What type and size of magnet are you using
I think that problem is not in the magnet. sensor used for detection of cover opening. in the closed state distance between magnet and sensor is about 3mm (sensor switchs on distance about 6-8mm). if cover is opened distance is greater than 100mm. i thought that maybe magnet is too strong, bun in datasheet maximum magnetic field specified as unlimited.
>>Is there a particular event that triggers the "stuck" output, or does it seem random?
for experiment we made 6 prototypes, 3 prototypes stays near magnet state and 3 prototypes stays without magnetic field. 2 sensors in the both groups has beet stucked within 2 days.
>>Have you tried swapping the DRV5032FB on the board for a new one
sensor works good after power turning off and turning on. we trying ic swapping, but they stucks too.
>>Also, the FB version has a push-pull output stage, so make sure you aren't using a pull-up resistor at the output pin.
we think may be it is not fb versions (version with openn drain or bipolar version). but when not stucked they works like push-pull omnipolar.
Maybe bad power conditions can cause output stucking? we have 0.1uF capacitor near drv5032, and 10uF summary capacitors. device powered by 3V lithium cell and under load voltage can drops to 2V for 1ms. but specified working from 1.65V
Hi Renat,
The extreme droop on the power supply sounds like it could be the root cause of the problem, especially because the part gets unstuck after a power cycle. Can you please show me a schematic and layout of your PCB? What else is powered from your 3V lithium battery? What's the battery part number?
