Can I send commands to the sensor through the CAN-FD module, like I do through the UART using the CLI tools?

Claudio,
You can send the commands to the sensor over CANFD. You will need to write the application to receive the CANFD message on the device side and take the appropriate action.

You can refer the the CANFD driver example in the MMWAVE-SDK for your refernce.
