IWR6843: People counting demo does not generate points

When I load and run the binary for the People Counting (lab0015_pplcount_68xx) demo from the quickstart folder I can obtain a valid data stream with expected point-cloud values. However, I have issues when I follow the user's guide and build the demo from source. I can successfully build (1st DSS then MSS) and program the binary, but the IWR6843 only returns frame headers (52 byte). I have tried both Debug and Release configurations to no avail. When running the IWR6843 I observe no errors in the debug output.

Any suggestions on how to proceed?

Hi Curtis,

Please double check the compiler version you are using for the DSS. We require compiler 7.4.16 - most likely, you have a newer compiler installed. See the People Counting user's guide for a link to the 7.4.16 compiler.

Hi Justin,
I am having the same problem. I have set TI 7.4.16 compiler in DSS project, eventhough, It is only sending 52 bytes of headers. What could be the problem?
