I have seen the S0 calibration spreadsheet, which is useful, but this is limited to only gain calibration. Calibration of A and B coefficients are alluded to in the datasheets (TMP006, TMP007), but there is no example of data to collect, nor axes to plot for a polynomial curve fit. The TMP007 calibration guide is also mute on this point. A general search has yielded no useful information.

Need some help if we are to use the TMP006 in our environmental monitoring product.

Hi Dan,

The Infrared Temperature Sensors TMP006 and TMP007 were discontinued in 2017 and are no longer available for sale.

There is no TI replacement for the TMP006 and TMP007 products. You can search for competitor devices by searching 'Infrared Temperature Sensor' at a distributor like DigiKey.

Ren,

Thank you for the prompt answer. These parts are in old products. Per your advise will use other sensors for a new design. For improving the firmware in the old products, per my original post, does a document exists to derive the coefficients?

Hi Dan,

As you've noticed, all of the published content has been removed from TI.com.

Some public websites maintain a history of the internet; you may find what you're looking for on a cached version of TI.com from 2016 or so.
