am not able flash sdk for iwr1642boost. which sdk version i need to flash. this evm arrived in jan 2019.

  • Hi Shann,

    An EVM from Jan 2019 should have the production version of IWR1642 chip i.e. ES2.0 which is compatible with MMWAVE-SDK 2.1.0.4. The EVM comes pre-flashed with the SDK demo which you can run using the mmWaveDemoVisualiser as explained in the SDK users guide unless you flashed some other binary onto it, in which case you can re-flash the SDK demo (refer to the SDK users guide). Please also refer to the following thread.

    CCS/IWR1642BOOST: is code available in iwr1642boost (inbuilt) and demo code of iwr1642 are same or different?

    i installed sdk of version 2.1.0.4.
    i downloaded the package of ti_mmwave_rospkg. i launched rviz_1642_2d.launch file. but output not coming showing error.
