Hi,

Our team use AWR1843BOOST RevA to perform the mmWave LAB exercise of Medium Range Radar.

We are sure that we follow all correct steps in the Getting Started Guide including mounting R137, but it still has a trouble in the result.

The MRR point cloud does not have any response and USRR only show one point for a metal target inside the range of 3m.

However, the USRR point also does not have any response when the target is outside 3m from the radar.

We would like to know what is wrong with the situation and how to get over this problem.

It seems that this is a HW issue.

Are you able to run the SDK OOB demo with the board?

Hi,
Thank you for the reply, but we are not pretty sure how to run the SDK OOB demo with AWR1843.
Could you tell us how to finish this work?

We use DCA1000 and mmwave studio to check raw data , the result seems OK . Then we test the measurement in the mmWave LAB exercise of Automated Parking , the result is OK as well.

Hi,

If the Automated Parking result is OK then the board should be functional.

Would it be possible to connect CCS to the board and set a breakpoint in the code so that we can understand how the code is executing
