AWR1243BOOST: AWR1243BOOST flashing error

Hi Expert,

I got the following error when I tried to flash the AWR1243BOOST board

Cortex_R4_0: Header of C:/ti/mmwave_dfp_01_02_00_01/firmware/radarss/xwr12xx_xwr14xx_radarss_rprc.bin file indicates it is not a valid file to flash to AWR1243: 0x43525052

I set the SOP to 5, used com port of applicatoin/user uart, chose the rss and mss files from dfp 1.2

Anything I was wrong?

Hi,
If you are flashing image to AWR1243BOOST (ES3.0) then you better use xwr12xx_metaImage.bin file.
As this file contains MSS and BSS firmware in it and this file format device expects in flashing mode.

Thanks for your answer.
I only need to flash xwr12xx_metaImage.bin, right?
On uniflash, shall I put this file under MSS, BSS, or the 3rd column in the file selection section?

In case if this AWR1243 ES3.0 then you need to use only xwr12xx_metaImage.bin file from Uniflash.
