  • Hi Francois,
Has customer made sure that offline visualizer installer executed under admin privileges?
And are they able to run online visualizer on the same PC?

    Regards,
    Jitendra
  • Hello,

    This is Tarek from Valeo.

Has customer made sure that offline visualizer installer executed under admin privileges?
    Yes
Are they able to run online visualizer on the same PC?
No because the USB was not recognized although the drivers are well installed and the Eval boar was connected.

Note: I am trying to run the 1843AoP eval board
  • Hello,

About the 2nd question, I installed the TICloudAgent Bridge. See attached photo.

Nevertheless, each time I want to select the USB port a message saying that the Agent is not installed and ask to install it.

    Tank you for your feedback

  • Hi,
Could you confirm about following points wrt Online visualizer (dev.ti.com/.../)
    1. When board is connected, are you able to see two COM ports enumerated in the device manager? USB cable should be connected close to USB which is closed to Silicon on the board (board has two USB connectors on it)
    2. While using online Visualizer, have you installed the 'TICloudAgent Bridge' extension in the Google Chrome browser? Make sure about the latest version of this extension.
    3. If above two points is YES, then while you open the visualizer, to get the COM port listed, you need to go to 'Options' menu and on pop-up press 'REFRESH' to get the list of COM ports.

    Regards,
    Jitendra
  • Hi

1- Yes I see the 2 COM ports and the USB is connected next to the silicon.

2- Yes the 'TICloudAgent Bridge is installed in the chrome browser. I took the version proposed by the visualizer (ticloudagent__2).

3- I did refresh many time with out success!!

    See image below.

    Please advice

  • Hi Jitendra,

The customer could solve the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the software. This still happens! Thank you for your support.

    Best regards,
    François.
