IWR1642BOOST: Device is heating too much Although it is working

Hi,

I think my device is heating too much although it is working. I can not place my fingers above the chip for more than 5 sec. It seems it is around 45-degree Celcius. I have many devices, all of those are showing the same. Is it normal?

Hi,

If you are running an application with high duty cycle and data processing the device temperature will increase.

The data sheet has a recommended operating temperature, if the device is beyond this limit it can result in unexpected behaviour.
