AWR1642: What's the default internal LDO mode after power on?

Hi,

What's the default internal LDO mode after power on? Is it fixed to LDO not bypass mode or it will change with input voltage of RF power rail?

My customer wants to know if the chip will enter LDO bypass mode automatically or not if the input of RF power rail is 1.0V. In this case, the RF power is always 1.0V.

Hi Chris,
Device has internal LDO which provides 1v to device RF where external voltage on RF power rail should be 1.3 v.
By default device's internal device LDO is not bypassed, that means external supply should be 1.3v for RF power rail.

If external RF power rail is given 1.0v supply then application must need to call rlRfSetLdoBypassConfig API with 'ldoBypassEnable' set to '1' so that internal LDO is bypassed and external 1.0v will be directly fed to RF.
