IWR1642BOOST: Can you flash a custom board using the IWR1642BOOST EVM

Scenario:

Custom IWR1642 board without USB/XDS chip on it.

Task:

To flash firmware on to it

Is any of the following solutions possible?

1. Is it possible to use a IWR1642BOOST evm as an interface to flash firmware to a custom board?

2. Is it possible to use SMARTRF06EBK as an interface- I know they are XDS100V3, is it possible to use them just to flash firmware? - We have few lying around that can be put to use.

Hi Krishna,

You will need to interface via XDS110 in some capacity in order to flash your IWR1642 device. I am not sure if the IWR1642BOOST is appropriate but the Smart RF debugger might be possible, although we have not tested this ourselves.
