IWR6843: mmWaveStudio Start Up Issue

Hello,

I am evaluating the IWR6843 and am planning to use the DCA1000EVM to optimize our application.
I have downloaded and installed mmWave Studio 2.0.0.2 according to the user's guide.
When I try to launch the application I get an exception:

I have made certain that I have the correct C++ redistributable and MATLAB runtime. Additionally, I am launching the application as an Administrator.
I have also tried using Windows compatibility features to no avail.

PC information:

Windows 10 - x64
i7
32GB system memory

Curtis ,

First thing would be to try is to reinstall mmWave Studio.
In the meantime ill look in to the error in case re-installation does not work.

Hi Alex,
I have tried reinstalling the application and the necessary MATLAB/C++ packages. I also observe this same exception with mmWave Studio version 1.

Hi Alex,
No change. None of the linked suggestions fixed my error.
Any other recommendations?

Is there a possibility to try on another computer?
What are the .NET frameworks that you have installed?

Alex,

I can try this on another machine, but that is not a tenable solution. I need this to run on my development machine.

I am running .NET 4.7.1 (preinstalled with Windows 10). Please note, the 4.x .NET frameworks are "in-place" updates and cannot be rolled back. See this

Specifically, "In Windows 8 and above, the .NET Framework is an operating system component and cannot be independently uninstalled."

Curtis,

Can you close mmwave studio, then delete the RSTD folder in C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming, and try again.
