IWR1443BOOST: required hardware for gesture detection

Hello,

I'd like to set up an environment to detect and recognize hand gestures. 

There should be the possibility to not only use the existing gestures but define my own ones out of the radar signal patterns. 

Is it right that I'll need the the DATA-CAPTURE-BNDL additionally to the IWR1443BOOST or is there anything else required?

And do I need an additional LaunchPad development kit or is it enough to just connect the IWR1443BOOST to the PC and the LaunchPad kits are only optional?
