Does LDC1614 can detect by estimating which metal used as a target?

    That is not a good application for the LDC1614. Measuring Rp is a more reliable way of detecting metal type, which can be done with the LDC1101. However, there are some limitations for this type of application:

    - Rp varies significantly with temperature.
    - Metal type detection works best if you are trying to distinguish between distinct objects that will always be placed at exactly the same position during the measurement.
    - Any change in distance will also affect the Rp.
    - If there is thickness variation, then it will also affect the Rp (if you are operating in the region where skin depth is a factor)
