DCA1000EVM: What is the difference between .cfg and JSON for configuration.

Hi,

When i use Demo Visualizer with AWR1642BOOST, it requires configuration file with format .cfg.

With SDK user guide, i could edit part of configuration file.

However, when i use AWR1642 with DCA1000evm and mmwave studio, it requires JSON file to configuration EVM.

What is the difference between those two format?

And how could i convert data in .cfg file to JSON format?

Or is there any method to use .cfg format in mmwave studio?

    Hi,
    JSON format is mainly used for mmWave Studio and .cfg for mmWave-SDK.
    Currently, there is no tool to convert .cfg to JSON format and Studio supports only JSON file not .cfg file.
    JSON is another option for Studio along with LUA script to automate the device configuration using mmWave-Studio.
