CCS/IWR1642BOOST: Build fails for demo project stating missing RTSC configuration file

I have installed mmwave SDK 3.1.1.02 and CCS v 8.3.0.00009 on Windows 10.

I have downloaded the 16422 demo & lab from ti resource explorer, using CCS. After downloading I have imported the mmwave Demo in to CCS, it has created a copy in the user workspace.

Now when I follow the instructions on the mmw_16xx_user_guide.pdf to rebuild the dss project, it fails with an error stating project does not contain buildable RTSC config file.

I also get a warning SYS/BIOS v6.53.2.00 is not currently installed. I installed the SDK and sys bios 6.73.01.01 has been installed.

Can some one help in getting this resolved.

Hi,
First of all AWR1642 demo on TI-Rex is not ported with SDK 3.1.
And even though you are able to tackle all the required changes to build it with SDK3.1, so based on error message 'missing RTSC config file'-> could you confirm the presence of 'dss_mmw.cfg' under CCS project?

There is no such file, will this latest SDK be an issue with other labs and demo codes?

I am able to build the pplcount demo dss with 8 warnings and 0 Errors on dss and

But ppl_count_mss fails with error

mss_main.c too few arguements in function call lin 407

I have downloaded the SDK version 2 LTS - I have modiefied the the build properties in CCS to include the new path to use the new SDK as well as all other related items, this version of SDK is in a directory called ti_old_sdk.

However forsome reason the 3.1 SDK path still appears during compilation how do I force CCS to ignore the ti folder which has 3.1SDK?

I have done it on project-> build-> properties->general->PRODUCTS tab - but it doesn't seem to work

I am closing this thread as it has been answered else where none of the demos have been ported to SDK 3.1. It would have been better if its clearly mentioned in release notes. I will stick with SDK 2.1 and try to migrate to 3.1 at a later time.
