CCS/AWR1642BOOST: People counting demo, Debug mode Emulation error

Hello,

I am trying to debug the people counting demo by following the 'Expand for help with Debug mode' section in the User guide for the AWR1642boost.

When trying to resume the program the following error occures:

In the Software Requirements is noted that I need to use TI Emulation Package 6.0.0576.0 or later. I am using version 8.0.903.2 as seen in the error above.

Am I missing something or is there something wrong with this Emulation Package?

Hi Sander,

Did you make sure to remove the SOP2 jumper after flashing the EVM to put the EVM back in functional mode? To run the lab in CCS debug mode, you need to flash the ccsdebug.bin firmware and then reboot the EVM in functional mode (i.e. only SOP0 closed, SOP1 and SOP2 open).

Hi Sander,

Have you been able to run the device in debug mode before with a different demo? Have you flashed the device with the debug binary?

I did flash the AWR with the ccsdebug.bin firmware and removed the SOP2 jumper after.
Haven't tried a different demo in debug before. I will try this and report back ones I did.
