Hi,

My problem is wrong measurement value of temperature from HDC1010. I am using "Temp-Hum 4 click" board . There is a HDC1010 on it. From I2C I read Manufacturer ID (0xFE)=0x5449 and Device ID (0xFF)=0x1000. There is no problem. Sensor have been tested in room condition with 5Vdc (5.01V) power supply. Sensor send temperature information approximatelly 4,5C more than expected. So, What is the reason? What can I do?

Hello Tugrl,

The "Temp-Hum 4 click" is not a TI product, but instead done by MikroE. You would need to discuss the same with MikroE who is the manufacturer.

Having said, that how are you testing for the temperature?

Today, I checked it with two independent tempereture measurement sensor. One is mercury thermometer that showing 23.9 - 24 C, Other one is digitial thermometer that showing 24.0 C and %46 RH. On the other hand, I measure the the following using HDC1010:

Coming data from sensor MSB first (4 byte)= 103,28,77,100

Calculated Value= 26.45C and 30.2RH

if it is need, I can measure register of serial ID 0xFB,0xFC,0xFD.

Hi Amit Ashara,

from 0xFB,0xFC,0xFD, Serial ID is 2.43.1.125.101 all in decimal format.

The register 0xFB, 0xFC and 0xFD are Read Only programmed value and will read correctly. As for the temperature data being out of the value expected, as I mentioned earlier, if the sensor has been damaged by the 3rd part assembling it into a reusable board, is out of our control. Can you try using another unit from MikroE.
