TDC1000-C2000EVM: Setup for Fluid Concentration

Hi,

I am using the TDC1000-C2000EVM for fluid concentration. Currently setup is two transducers (Steminc SMD07T05R412WL, 4.25MHz) mounted, transducer 1 connected to TX1 and GND and transducer two connected to RX1 and GND. The transducers are mounted to a plastic wall, with the transducers being approximately 20mm apart from each other. Configuration is set to mode 1 with channel 1.

The problem is that the measurements do not make sense. When the tank is empty (no water) the measurement is still the same. Even when transducer 2 (RX1) is disconnected, the measurements do not change.

Can you please assist in finding the error and give recommendations to setup parameters?

I work with Jon Anders, just adding some details.

If you have suggestions to frequency and other parameters to make this work, we'd be thankful.

The purpose is to measure the liquid density between two piezo transducers in a steel casing.

Please refer to the document below on the transducer setup to be used for fluid concentration/density measurement.

Typically we will use 1 transducer setup for liquid level/concentration measurements.
