LMT87: output drop during operation

Hi,

My customer is having problem of LMT87 during long time operation, there are two short suddenly drop at the output pin(about 15us), can you help to let us know if you have seen this before and what may be the reason to have voltage drop at the output during operation?

Is this behavior repeatable on multiple devices?

Can you provide more information about where the Vout signal is going? I assume an ADC?

Hi Jalen,

Yes, this is repeatable, but not easy to repeat.

Yes, the output is going to the ADC of MCU. (C2000 series)

I am wondering if the low pass filter is a must have in the output stage?
Because the R45 is 0 now, it doesn't have low pass filter at the output stage.

Please let us know if further information needed.

Hi,

No the lowpass filter is not necessarily needed.

Do you have any high frequency switching around the device that could be coupling into the output? For what application is this?
