I'm a Ph.D student in signal processing for automotive RADAR, especially I'm working on interference mitigation. I'm using MATLAB for writing and simulating my algortihms. For a practical test we have ordered 2 AW1642BOOST boards. The important thing for me is to get the adc raw data (discrete beat frequency signal) for interference mitigation processing . My questions are all around DSP :
Do we have access to the AWR1642BOOST ADC raw data before processing by the software? It's possible to acquire this adc raw data using MATLAB software ?
If we would like to buildt our own RADAR on an AWR1642 chipset dedicated to automotive applications (Automatic Cruise Control, Lane change assistance, ADAS,..) , do we need an external DSP?
In which case (cases) we need to use another external DSP?
