AWR1243: CSI2 Checksum

Hello,

The MIPI CSI2 standard provides for a packet footer which contains a 16-bit CRC value. Does the AWR1243 utilize this packet footer field? If this is implemented, can you provide a full example packet as a reference? In my analysis of CSI2 packets from the AWR1243BOOST board I am not seeing the correct CRC field in there.

Hi,

I think what you have in mind is the packet footer for a long packet. The packet footer is a 16-bit checksum.

Hi Cesar,

Thanks, that post resolved my issue. As pointed out in the other post, the CRC will be computed for the entire packet, not independently for each lane. The CRC will be transmitted spread across multiple lanes according to the lane spreading layer.
