Hi.

I want to ask the question about Doppler-Range Heatmap in mmWave Demo Visualizer.

I think z-axis means signal power but I'm not sure its scale.

Is this value absolute value or any log scale?

Hello Nobu-san,
Do not understand your query on the Doppler-range heatmap . There is no z-axis in the plot of the demo visualizer for Doppler Range heatmap.

There is just Range(m) in x-axis and doppler (m/s) on y-axis.

When I put the pointer on the Doppler-range heatmap, I can see 3 value (x,y,z) like the picture below.

I want to ask what z value and its scale are.

Hello Nobu-san,
Sorry for my delayed reply.

The z-value in the range-doppler heatmap is the detection matrix.
If you want the value in db scale follow the calculation given in the mmwave-user-guide.pdf for the "Threashold Scale" of the "cfarCfg" .
DetMatrix(dB ) = (z-value *6)/(256 x numVirtualAntennas).
