AWR1243: advanced frame configuration

Hi expert,

I am using AWR1243BOOST+DCA1000 to evaluate the advanced frame configuration.

If I define more than one subframe in the advanced frame configuration with hardware trigger, the data transfer is very slow.

Looks like AWR1243 ignores most of the triggers.

With software trigger, there is no problem.

I am sure I didn't enable the subframe trigger option.

Is there anything that could possibly go wrong?

Hi,

In case of advanced frame configuration, you need to provide hardware trigger at every burst (where n-bursts are defined in each sub-frame).

And along with this, there is a time recommendation for a hardware trigger mode.

The same information is provided in ICD document (figure 5.1).

Make sure that you follow this condition while providing the hardware pulse to the device.

The AWR1xxx Radar Interface Control Document will be in the docs folder after installation.
