AWR1642BOOST: Signal strength Issue

Our customers are testing in-vehicle using the AWR1642 EVM.
There is a shield at the front and the signal is weak.

Test App is lab0003_occupancy_detection.
Is there a way to increase the strength of the signal ?

Hi,
As per AWR1642BOOST EVM it uses max of Tx power by default. You can use configure the device to use 2 Tx antenna at a time for every chirp which enhances the transmit power.
SDK based CLI command to use 2Tx for the chirp.
chirpCfg <startIdx> <endIdx> <profileID> 0 0 0 0 3
Last parameter (bitwise) stands for Tx anteanna enable for chirp.
