AWR1243: Cannot download firmware into AWR1243, how to solve this problem?

Hi,

Before, we use awr1243, worked with mmwavelink 0.9.1, and it works well.

Now, we are trying to migrate software from awr1243 to awr1243P, but fails in download firmware to awr1243p.

How to solve this problem?

    Hi Hao,
    Could you migrate to mmWave-DFP v1.2 and refer mmWaveLink_Example application for firmware download flow over SPI?
    I am suspecting that AWR1243 which you were using is ES2.0 and AWR1243P is ES3.0 version. ES2.0 requires three seperate firmwares to be downloaded over SPI whereas ES3.0 requires single metaImage firmware file to be downlaoded over SPI.

    mmWave-DFP v1.2 has support for ES3.0 silicon and provide firmware & application.

    BTW, does dfp 1.2 works on 1243 ES2.0? As ES2.0 requires 3 seperate firmwares.

    DFP 1.2 supports only AWR1243 ES3.0, not ES2.0.

    For the supported device, you can visit the release note of DFP package.
