AWR1642: The spec IIP3 and IIP2 in AWR1642

Part Number: AWR1642

Hi, all

I can find IIP2 spec value in AWR1642 datasheet. but i can't find IIP3 spec value in the AWR1642 datasheet.

so i have 2 questions:

1, how is the iip3 in AWR1642?

2. It seems that IIP3 is not so important as IIP2 in AWR1642 because not mentioned in datasheet. Can somebody tell me why?

Does the IIP3 have less impact in AWR1642?    but in most RF chips, the IIP3 is much more important than IIP2.

Regards,

Fucai

  • Hi,
IIP3 has less impact in AWR1642 because in this device we have high linearity receiver capable of a wide range of input power.
Circuit design topology dictates value for IIP2 and IIp3, it would vary from design to design.
In our design, we have shown the importance of IIP2 to indicate our receiver can accept a very large range of input power without producing any non-linear product.
