Hello TI support team,

I am interested in any of the mmwave automotive demos especially the srr/mrr/lrr demos found in the toolbox (AWR1642/AWR1843 ...etc) which can help me accomplish my goal.

I am working on an application in the meantime using SRR to track objects using the tracker to get the coordinates velocity etc, my question is that :

1- is it possible to detect very high velocities i.e (>=100kmph) in a range from 0 to 20 meters in any of the different ti AWR designs?? and if yes how to configure the code to do so.

2- if this is not possible, can you please recommend any demo or design module by ti which can help me with this issue.?

#1 - No, the native max velocity is based on the chirp/frame configuration. This chirp/frame config is specific to each demo

#2 - The MRR demo uses a specific Vmax extension should be able to measure >100 kmph. Range is up to ~150m at bore sight

Hello Cesar,

This Vmax extension you mentioned in your (MRR demo recommendation reply), would it help me, if I am filtering data read from the UART port to a max range of 20 meters, to detected 100 kmph velocities?
