IWR6843ISK: IWR6843ISK Power Measurement

Part Number: IWR6843ISK

Hello

I have the MMWAVEICBOOST and IWR6843ISK . I need to measure the power consumption of the IWR6843ISK board, and I can see there are a number of shunt resistors and I2C devices that measure power at the various voltage levels. However, is there a simple mechanism I can measure total IWR6843ISK  power consumption with a current probe\meter , and isolate the result from components on the MMWAVEICBOOST

Thanks

 David

  • Hi,

The VCC_3V3 voltage rails feeds the component on the IWR6843ISK board, you will need to find a way to isolate this rail.

unfortunately there is not isolation provided on the board, however you might be able to do some rework on the VCC_3v3 input from the connector to measure the power.
