Hi Experts,

HWA_init() contains only ’return;' in HWA.c in the MMWAVE-SDK.
The OOB demo and some labs in mmWave toolbox examples call the function I believe.

Could you please let me know the reason why it has only 'return" in HWA_init()?

The only reason I can think of keeping the Init function and keeping it empty is to maintain the same architecture/programming interfaces of the SDK drivers for all its drivers.

Do not think there is any other reason.

Hi Raghu,
Let me clarify again as follows:
1) Does it work as TI expected even thought it is empty?
2) It is not necessary to add any initialization for customers' application?

Sugawara-san,

A1: It is working today even though it is empty.

A2: The HWA_open() does the required initialization.
