Hi I am trying to extract the the number count for traffic monitoring with the IWR1642. More specifically I just want to take that car number count that increases in a boundary that we see in the GUI. I want this value to be expressed in a program I am using called "Thing Speak" . Are you familiar with "Thing Speak" ?

Hello,

Please reference the GUI source code provided which demonstrates how to extract the relevant count information being displayed.

We do not support other programs.

Is the GUI source codes in MatLab? Are you suggesting that i extract count information from MatLab.

Yes please refer to the documentation and source code provided. It is clearly stated in the lab user's guide that the GUI source code is provided for use with Matlab.

Yes I see that. "Thing Speak " is a program owned by MatLab that I would like to use to extract car/people count total? Do you know what variable is being used for this in these source codes?

If you check the source code you could do a simple search for Target Count as seen in the GUI and you would see how the variables for the counting in each lane are updated using the variables targetCountTotal and targetCountInBox.

Ok thanks. This is the error i keep getting trying to visualize a simple ppl count in GUI. Any suggestions?

"matlab.webcam.internal.Utility.enumerateWebcams"...
I am getting this error in my gui code for people count. DO you know whats wrong I am using the latest matlab runtime 2017A .

You are likely missing the toolbox required. You can comment out the code sections referring to the webcam.

Yes. I did that I fixed this issue. The issue I have now is finding the variable count that consistently updates in the visualizer. I see the variable but its not updating as the sensor sees a person. I am currently back forth with viz.m and setup.m source codes
